Christmas in Waverly
I finally found some of the pictures from Christmas in Waverly. The day started with a wonderful lunch. We then opened presents and then the kids and Granma made the gingerbread house.

Christmas
A friend informed us recently that we haven't done an update lately and then I realized that we hadn't even put Christmas pictures on. So, here it is Kip, thanks for noticing!
Christmas for us started this year with a trip to Odebolt for Christmas with the Scanlan's. This includes several cousins to play with.
Ben (4), Jordan (4) and Alexa (2)

Just two of the presents Jordan received - anything with wheels is ALWAYS a hit with this boy.
The next gatherings are in Audubon with the Levis' & Nielsen's. This was another 3 hour drive and Jordan was told that if he didn't sleep on the way, there would be NO presents so.......
Our "sleeping angel" on the way to Christmas. On Christmas Eve we celebrate at Taylor Hill Lodge with the Levis side.
Madison (7), Jordan (4) & Megan (8)
After supper we got ready to open presents, here Jordan is sitting on Great Uncle Lance's lap with Great Aunt Gayle looking on.Great Granma Nielsen's house was the next party, on Christmas Morning for brunch and gifts and yes ....... more cousins to play with.
Lisa, Jordan and Katylyn playing with some of the new toys.
The Four GenerationsPapa Steve, Great Granma Nielsen, Jordan & Jeni
After the 3 hour drive back home, although it took even longer because of the weather, Jordan found that Santa had been to our house and left presents for him under the tree.
The before anticipation
Showing off the loot.A few days later we gathered in Waverly with Granma & Papa, Emily, John and the girls & ourselves. Unfortunately I can't find my pictures, so when they have been located I will add them also.
Thank you to everyone for the lodging, food, playtime and gifts.

Santa

Santa came to Frederika today and to our surprise Jordan was VERY EXCITED!! This morning he told me that I had to tell Santa what to bring for Christmas but when the time actually came......
he climbed right up there and told Santa that he wanted a John Deere Tractor, John Deere Wagon, a truck and maybe another John Deere Wagon. Then when he got his sack of "goodies" he turned to Santa and said "Thank You". Daddy and Mommy were SO proud.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!

First real snow
Jordan LOVES it. We still remember just a couple of years ago when he didn't want to touch the snow, now we can't keep him out of it. Today he spent a good hour outside playing.
Jordan watched Daddy move snow off the driveway with Papa's skid loader so.....
when it was time for Jordan to go out he wanted his tractor to move snow with also.

Moving the snow to the side like Daddy does.

Daddy had been pulling Jordan around on the sled, Jordan decided it was just as much fun to pull the sled himself and make tracks.
Even with VERY RED cheeks, he still didn't want to come inside for lunch.
I am sure we will be back out again as long as there is snow on the ground.
